The Director of New Business Development will play a key role in developing new business lines for the Monetization division and be responsible for a broad range of activities ranging from developing relationships on both the traffic acquisition and advertising side of the business to working with the product and technology teams to help define product requirements. This role is responsible for creating and managing new business lines that drive revenue growth on a scalable and profitable basis.

Responsibilities:
- Build and manage publisher relationships: Identify, prospect, and form monetization relationships with a variety of traffic sources, including but not limited to: Domain owners, Ad networks, Website owners, Application developers, Email marketers, Hosting, Registrars and other opportunistic prospects. Guiding and selling prospective publishers on innovative, incremental, and/or emergent forms of monetizing traffic is a key part of the role.
- Build and manage advertising relationships: Identify, prospect and form relationships with a variety of advertising sources, including but not limited to: Ad Networks, Affiliate Networks, International Advertising sources, Ad Brokers, Ad Agencies, direct advertisers etc. that have CPC, CPA, CPV, and/or Zero Click Models.
- Work closely with cross-functional business units to ensure the proper design, features and functionality of the new business lines to enable growth and a world class customer experience
- Ability to achieve specific monthly and quarterly revenue and GP goals.
- Team Collaboration: good working and collaborative relationships within the company to help drive business objectives aligned with overall corporate goals.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of business development experience
- Established rolodex of contacts in the online advertising space
- Broad understanding of online advertising and monetization
- Familiarity with industry metrics including but not limited to: keywords, RPCs, RPM, Landing Pages, DNS, Whois, Behavorial data, etc Online search marketing, Google and Yahoo Search, PPC, Adsense, Adwords
- Must have effective telephone presentation skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a proven ability to close deals, hunt for new business, a willingness to cold call, network and be able to present compelling business case with PowerPoint and on the web via online tools
- Adept at the latest online tools for prospecting and interacting with prospects and customers over the internet, including not limited to instant messaging, email, webinars, remote desktop, online conferencing tools, online demonstrations, social media tools and state of the art CRM systems such as sales force
