In 2009, Steve co-founded Fareloop, LLC and served as its CEO until 2011. From 2004 to 2007, Steve was the Co-Founder and CEO of Candeo Technologies. Steve also served as the VP of Strategy and Business Development at New.net from 2002 to 2004 and as the Sr. Director of Business Development at The .tv Corporation from 2000 to 2002. Prior to their work in the tech industry, Steve worked as an Associate in Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs & Co. from 1999 to 2000 and as an Analyst at Mercer Management Consulting from 1993 to 1995.

Steve Yi attended Harvard University for their undergraduate degree, where they majored in East Asian Studies. Steve then went on to attend Harvard Law School, where they earned their Juris Doctorate.
