Please review the following guidelines to better understand how we approach the buying process.
Buying Criteria:
- Our main focus is buying domain portfolios with primarily type-in traffic.
- We prefer .COM and .NET extensions, but will consider others if they have regular type-in traffic or high generic value.
- We have a strict screening process to filter out all domains which are adult, gambling or trademark related because we do not purchase domains of this nature.
- In most cases, we require that a portfolio be tested on our DomainSponsor parking platform to evaluate its traffic and monetization potential.
- We typically set an offer price based on a multiple of annualized PPC earnings. Typical deal multiples range from 2.5x - 5x of the portfolio's annual PPC earnings. The deal multiple is also influenced by the quality, age, stability and resale potential of the domains. It is possible for portfolios of exceptional quality to exceed this typical multiple range.
Please be aware of the following:
- OVERSEE.NET is a broker of domains and not an end user. As a result, we are typically not buyers of individual domains in the high five, six or seven figure range.
