Product Manager, Monetization Optimization
Oversee.net Domain Services has an immediate need for an innovative Product Manager with excellent quantitative and technical skills. This is a great opportunity for a professional with a strong data analysis background to lead the development of one of the most successful online marketing engines.
The Product Manager will own, define and enhance key optimization components that power the leading domain monetization platform. We are looking for a self-starter who can think out of the box yet show consistency and diligence in applying proven formulas for maintaining the product leadership in domain monetization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage test cases, research prototype evaluations and data mining initiatives to identify product enhancements for improving product monetization
- Translate results and findings into product requirements and functional specifications. Understand and articulate clearly impacts on financial drivers
- Coordinate with engineering and the Project Management Office to build and launch product enhancement and features using an Agile software development methodology
- Guide and mentor R&D teams to ensure delivery of a consistent and adequate flow of research prototypes
- Lead post-launch activities. Analyze business results in light of initial plans and objectives
- Benchmark constantly all core optimization engines against competition. Reports on strengths, weaknesses, threat and opportunities to Senior Management and Stakeholders. Ensure organization alignment behind high priority initiatives
Requirements:
- 4-8 years of Product Management, Data Analysis or Marketing Research experience, ideally at an internet or software company
- Proven expertise in designing A/B tests and analyzing outcomes. Experience with multivariable test methodologies like Taguchi a strong plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must work well in a team and willing to work under tight deadlines
- Must be comfortable in a data-driven and highly technical environment. Previous experience with Online Advertising, SEO and SEM highly desired
- Technical or Scientific degree a definite plus
