QA Engineer

The Quality Assurance Engineer's primary responsibility is to identify and mitigate software quality issues associated with the design, production and release of software products.

Responsibliltes:

• Write customized automation programs and scripts, review product requirements documents, create and execute test cases; create and maintain test data; record test results; track and create various reports and metrics
• Conduct and assist with the creation, execution and maintenance of feature, regression and performance, and load
• Develop and write effective test plans and works with team members to organize product testing as a part of product development and release cycles
• Initiate, monitor and verify individual bugs and participates in the bug resolution process.
• Work with team members, participate in the review and selection of tools and technologies to optimize existing quality practices and recommend where these may be used to improve quality process and test automation tools infrastructure
• Represent and promote quality engineering and quality assurance methods, processes and procedures across the Technology organization   

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science
• 2+ years experience in Quality Assurance
• Strong experience with Linux Operating System
• Extensive experience with Black/Grey Box testing
• Extensive experience with Sellenium or other web-based automation software
• Must have strong background in writing test plans, test cases, etc
• Strong SQL skills, preferably using MySQL
• Experience with PHP preferred
• Experience with defect tracking/management software.
• Ability to work in a fast paced team setting and have a strong attention to detail
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
